Allison has been with the Factory since 2001. She served as Executive Director from 2002 - 2007. She received her training at Carnegie-Mellon University and Columbia College. After taking a seven-year break from theater and working at various jobs from hardware stores to public affairs firms, Allison began her journey back to theatrical world in, of all places, Los Angeles. She decided Chicago was a much better place to tread the boards and moved to the windy City in 1992 and started Studio 108, a theater company dedicated to new, comedic work. As Artistic Director of Studio 108, she produced twelve plays. Allison is proud to report that she has worked almost exclusively on new work since 1990 in Los Angeles, Connecticut, Scotland and Chicago and is thrilled to be a member the Factory where she can continue her commitment to new works.
