Christian Murphy stumbled upon these wacky Factory Theater Folk when we entered and accidentally won the Factory Theater 1998 "Shut Up & Laugh" One-Act Comedy Festival with his one-person egocentric, look-at-how-long-I-can-talk-without-breathing dramedy, Meditations. another Comedy Festival award winner, to write and perform, The Sensitive Swashbuckler & Other Dating Myths. This interactive, improvisational show, now called Sex Signals, explores dating, sex, and ultimately, date rape on college campuses. The show has toured to over 100 colleges and is becoming one of the most popular lecture programs on the college market. When he's not on the road, Christian enjoys hanging with his honey, Lauren, participating in Factory writing workshops, and marvelling at the talent and comedic skills of his Factory brethren... and sistren. He can also be seen as the dumb factory worker who holds a sign and makes wisecracks in the Icehouse Beer campaign... only running in the Southeast. Any NASCAR fans our there?
