The above is an actual testimonial on Friendster; it's as good a description of the enigma that surrounds Jason Lubow as any...he's been playing with The Factory since 1996, but didn't join the ensemble proper until the 21st century. Everything happens right on time...he's been at least partially responsible for the following Factory Productions: Win, Place, Or Show ; White Trash Wedding And A Funeral ; Escape From The North Pole ; BattleAxe Betty ; The Shut Up & Laugh Comedy Fest (1997) ; Endzone ; Goooooo, Speech Team! ; Variations On Death ; Captain Raspberry ; The Death And Life Of Barb Budonovich ; Poppin' And Lockdown ; Lab Rats ; Among The Dead ; Dick Danger: DJ CrimeSolver ; Chicagostyle ; Here Comes A Regular ; Poppin' And Lockdown 2:! Dance The Right Thing; The Lonesome Hoboes; Rapid Fire (2005); and Top Shelf Gash.
Lubow has occassionally lent his (ahem)...talents to other theatres in and around Chicago, including Emanon Children's Theatre (R.I.P.), Annoyance Productions, Defiant Theatre (R.I.P.), Mary-Arrchie Theatre Company, Open Eye Productions, Cupid Players, Chicago Opera Theatre, Drury Lane Oakbrook, The Hypocrites, and Theater At The Center in Munster, Indiana.
Lubow's hobbies include demolishing psychological road blocks and constantly re-inventing himself. The latter is accomplished via tattoos and body modification; the former through spinning/eating fire, skateboarding, and juggling an array of dangerous and stupid things. |
