Sean Abley (Emeritus) is one of the founders of the Factory Theater, as well as the Factory Theater West in Los Angeles. For the Factory he wrote REEFER MADNESS, ATTACK OF THE KILLER B'S, BITCHES, SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS - THE MUSICAL, HOORAY! (contributor), P (contributor), SECOND CITY DIDN'T WANT US, OR, IS THERE A SPOT IN THE TOURING COMPANY FOR MY GIRLFRIEND? (contributor) and NUCLEAR FAMILY, all of which he also appeared in, and almost all he directed. He also appeared in WHITE TRASH WEDDING AND A FUNERAL, SPIN DOCTORS, WIN PLACE OR SHOW, ESCAPE FROM THE NORTH POLE, ABBARAMA!, KONG!, DISCO BOB, BEAVER HUNT, SABOTAGE, THE CHRISTMAS SHOW, and BEING AT CHOICE

For the Factory Theater West in Los Angeles, Sean recreated Nick Digilio's direction for WHITE TRASH WEDDING AND A FUNERAL, as well as restaging ATTACK OF THE KILLER B'S, for which he won a Backstage West "Garland Award" for Best Adaptation.
Outside the Factory, Sean has written CORPSE GRINDERS (Some Mo' Productions) and directed MR. POPPER'S PENGUINS (Lifeline Theater). Before disappearing for the coast, he also wrote for the YOU DON'T KNOW JACK cd-rom trivia game.
Since moving to LA in '97, Sean has been a busy bee in television, writing and/or producing JUST FOR LAUGHS (Game Show Network), JEP! (Game Show Network), MAD LIBS (Disney Channel), DATING GAME (syndicated, and Chuck Woolery is a dick! Don't be fooled!), SO WEIRD (Disney Channel), SABRINA THE ANIMATED SERIES (ABC), MEGA BABIES (Fox Family), DIGIMON (Fox Kids), WEBRIOT (MTV), KIDNAPPED (MTV), THAT 70'S KISS SHOW (VH1), SWEAT (G4TV), BLISTER (G4TV) and his most shameful assignment, REAL TV (syndicated, and Ahmaad Rashad is a dick! Don't be fooled!).
Currently Sean is writing the pilot for the animated series BENCH PRESSLY - THE WORLD'S STRONGEST PRIVATE DICK, a show he created with Ahmet Zappa, as well as the first short to be produced by the newly formed Factory West Films, DAY JOB OF THE DEAD.
