bullet Cast

Rob Biesenbach (St. Peter) is beyond stoked to be performing in his second Factory Theater production, after his debut here this spring in Ceres. He began his acting career six years ago this Fall. Since then he has appeared in more than 100 commercial, theatrical and film productions around town, at places including Silk Road Theatre, the Side Project, Steep Theatre and the Bailiwick. He also writes, and has had a number of short plays and sketches produced. More information can be found at www.robbiesenbach.com.

Ryan Bollettino (Jesus The Christ) is glad to be back at Factory once more for more fun and frolic. Ryan is a Hypocrite, appearing in Balm in Gilead, Death of a Salesman, Machinal, and The Bald Soprano to name a few. Around town he's worked with Griffin, Trap Door, Side Project, House and most recently with Strawdog in R.U.R. Holiest of blessings among Roach, OKen, cast and crew, and you for supporting Chicago Theater. When life gets rough, just remember that Chaka Khan wants to rock you. And that's all she wants to do.

Ray Brazaski (Demon Albert Kida) prepared for his role by extensively Googling Aleister Crowley and Anton LeVey.  Upon completion of his research, he attempted to set his computer aflame in a symbolic gesture to the futility of all human endeavors.  As a result, Ray learned a couple salient life lessons:  He is not a method actor and computers are more difficult to set on fire than books.  He should have kept it simple.  Ray returns to Factory Theater after having the time of his life playing the jester Bobbini in Ren Faire! A Fistful of Ducats.  He has been doing theater in various states for more than a couple decades, once stood on a chair and ate herring on New Year’s Eve, loves the blues, went to school, is in full support of REM sleep, and is looking for a good IT person to repair his computer.  Ray would like to thank The Talented Mr. Roach for giving him a chance to do this thang, Maker’s Mark, Scott and Chelsea because it’s super cool to show-hop together,  the Emmys, the entire cast and crew for reaffirming the power of laughter, and Jessica. And Maker’s Mark.

Justin Cagney (Andre, Josh Groban) is thrilled to be making his debut with Factory Theater.  Justin was last seen with “a year lost…” as Ben, Thomas, Rene and A12 in The Name I Gave Myself.  Other recent credits include Crumble (Tommy), Next Stop Spinsterland (Mr. Right/Chad/Etc.), Le Café Du Talent (Frank), Tales of the Lost Formicans (Jerry), The Tempest (Caliban), and You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown (Schroeder).  On the screen, Justin was recently featured in “The Jack Bisbee Story” and “Change of Heart.”  Justin studied theatre at College of DuPage where he was awarded the John Belushi/Second City Memorial Scholarship.

Ernie Deak* (God) has been a proud member of the Factory Theater since 2005. His most recent contribution to Posterity was writing Shameless Shamuses. Thanks for comin' to the show! Love to Tracy!

Catherine Dughi* (Nikki)
* Fact: Catherine hails from Amish Country, Pennsylvania.
* Fact: This is her first prime-time show as a Factory Ensemble Member.
* Fact:  She has also appeared in the First and Second Editions of Siskel & Ebert Save Chicago and Shameless Shamuses with Factory.
* Hint: Catherine likes massages.
* Fact:  Other appearances include The House of Yes (Will Act for Food), Vanities (Point of Contention), Animal (Schwa Productions), Satanic Panic (Marc Selz Productions, premiering Nov 28), and other stage and film ventures.
* Sub-fact or Factoid: Recent indie film Martial Arts in Suburbia marked Catherine's first use of her martial arts training for dramatic purposes.
* Opinion:  Those other ventures were fun, too, and she's OMG SO EXCITED to be working on this show.
* Fact:  Thank you so much for coming out to play with us.  We like you.--Oh, DAMMIT!  I just messed up my format...
* Judgment:  We like you. Mitakuye Oyas'in.  Truth.

Corri Feuerstein* (Apostle Mary) is happy to be back on stage with the Factory where she is a proud ensemble member, having appeared previously in Siskel and Ebert Save Chicago, GIs in Europe and Top Shelf... She also serves as Artistic Director and co-founder of Will Act For Food, where she is gearing up to direct American Notes in the spring of '09. Previously, Corri has played with lots of other companies around Chicago that she'll tell you about later. The show's starting and you have 87 more bios to read while drinking that beer. She loves Spasko more than cheese sticks. It's that serious.

Christine Jennings* (Gina) has been playing with the Factory family since 1996. She thanks you for bustin’ out of your house, away from the tv & supporting original theater. Give yourself a pat on the back, or a hug, or better yet hug the person next to you. Do it. Love to Pat & Rita.

Christopher Marcum (Demon Nate Polian) is thrilled to be back punching in at the Factory. He last worked with this amazing bunch in the spring production of Ceres. Other recent stuff around town includes Biloxi Blues (Sgt. Toomey) with RiMeChi Theatre Co., as well as producing Waiting for Lefty with the brilliant Seth Remington (as Remarcable Productions). He has also been fortunate enough to work with gifted artists at Rogue Theater, Polarity Ensemble Theatre, and still knocks heads and eats cheese with the gang from his first Chicago gig at St. Sebastian, wagging fools one and all. Big thanks to Eric, OKen, and the entire ensemble at the Factory as well as his wonderful wife Samantha for all her patience, love and support.

Paul Metreyeon* (Lee Pickens) There is nothing Paul would rather do than play with his Factory family, except for put his finger in there. He was last seen as Richard Roeper in the Factory's historic smash hit Siskel and Ebert Save Chicago. Enjoy the greatness of this amazing and funny cast of people, and thank you for coming to the show! All my love to Shad and RaRa08, to Factory, and to McLean for the play dates. To Roach and OKen- Thank you my friends, thank you.

Colin Milroy* (Phipps, Confucious) joined the Factory Theater ensemble in 2007 after performing in GI’s in Europe, Operation Infiltration, and the critical thumbs-up smash Siskel and Ebert Save Chicago.  After transplanting from New Mexico, Colin has performed in lotsa theaters throughout Chicagoland but the Factory is the best place to call home.  The Factory is a blessing in this life and the next.  Enjoy the romp through the afterlife tonight, thank you for supporting the Factory, and remember that Star Trek V is a good movie, but only in hell.  Love to Kori and George.

Scott OKen* (Satan/Playwright) is enamored with the Factory he also is E-Namored, meaning he sends internet messages to the Prince of Atlantis! Imperious Rex!!!!!! This is his 4063rd bit of involvement with the Factory, among his bits are writing Top Shelf..., Co-writing, Surface Dwellers, Toast of the Town, GI's in Europe, with Ernest Deak, and acting in countless other Factory shows. He also jams so hard it'll make you shit!!!! Love to love....

Erin Elizabeth Orr (Sonja) is thrilled to be working with The Factory Theater!! Originally and proudly from Texas, Erin most recently appeared in the 12 ½ year anniversary production of Metaluna and the Amazing Science of the Mind Revue with WNEP Theatre and The Diviners with Speaking Ring Theatre. Other credits include This American Wife (Per Diem), Chalk (The Right Brain Project), The Kings of Cabbage, Twelfth Night, The Past’s Present, and The Crucible (SRT), and Rust (Point of Contention). Erin has studied at The Artistic Home and spent the 2005-06 season as an acting intern at Milwaukee Repertory Theatre. She can be seen next with The Right Brain Project in And They Put Handcuffs on the Flowers. Thanks to Dan for all the aaa-mazing support!

Chelsea Paice (Demon Fannie Flagg) is all atingle from working with the Factory crew once again!  You may have seen her over the summer in the Factory's smash hit, Ren Faire! A Fistful of Ducats.  She was Polish.  Chelsea would like to thank her magnificent parents, her kooky brother, and her fantabulous grandparents.  Also, Patty for the wisdom, Emily for the laughs, and Crazy Face for both the good and the bad.

Sara Sevigny* (Apostle Roberta)  WELCOME!  *waves hand randomly* Now, lessie here...she'd like to thank Corri for calling her boozypants, Roach for letting her play with Corri, OKen for writing her to play with Corri and The Factory for letting her and Corri in at the same time which allowed this playtime to occur.  Now, put this program down and look there... *points to stage* Hi Jon.  Hi.  mex3

Anthony Tournis* (Ed/Fight Choreographer) has been a proud member of the Factory for several years now. In a few months he will be married to the lovely and talented Stacie Barra. That is right, married. I guess you missed out. The better woman won, and trust me she is the better woman. Think of what we could have been, and then flush those dreams down the toilet. BURN! You know what? I think it would be better if we didn't see each other anymore. I've got the right one, and I am going to make her an honest woman even though I don't deserve her. Look stop crying, it just makes you look pathetic. Here is ten dollars for a cab. Have a nice life.

bullet Crew

Eric Thomas Roach* (Director) is amazing. My costume designer Zee said so. So, there you go. I've got to take a second here and thank the best cast and crew in Christendom and abroad. They have put up with scheduling insanity, crazy last minute changes, and an extremely frazzled director. They are more than I could hope for in this best of all possible worlds. My love to the Factory, without whom I would have lost it completely a long time ago. Love to Angel (bitchin' set, baby!).

Josh Graves* (Assistant Director) is grateful for the chance to work with such an incredible group of people. His previous Factory endeavors were as ASM for Janice Dutts Goes to Life Camp and Ceres as well as Stage Manager for Dirty Diamonds. The most important lesson he learned during this process was to always carry your own phillips screwdriver - you never know when it may come in handy. Much love to Joie.

Carrie J. Sullivan* (Producer) is the proud Executive Director of the Factory. She's worked on many shows in many different capacities. She also plays several musical instruments, eats popcorn, rides her bike all over town and enjoys spending time in the garden. She sincerely thanks you for supporting off-loop theater.

Joe Gehr* (Co-Producer) is happy to be working on his tenth Factory show. If you happen to see him in the lobby, please give him a beer. He will enjoy it.

Marlana May Carlson (Stage Manager) originally hails from Baltimore, MD, but Chicago is her favoritist place of all.  She has a BA in Theatre from Oberlin College, 2003.  This is her 14th production, 9 of which were at Prop Thtr.  This is her first Factory production.  Yay!

Molly Gilbert  (Assistant Stage Manager) is excited to be working with Factory Theater for the first time. She is entering her junior year at The School of The Art Institute of Chicago majoring in painting. Molly’s credits include Trust with Open Eye Productions, assistant to the lighting designer on Fleetwood Jourdain Theatre’s production of Porgy and Bess and Lewis and Clark Reach the Euphrates with Infamous Commonwealth Theatre. Molly is forever grateful to Diane Fairchild for everything she has done.

Kyle Waites (Technical Director) is making his legendary Factory debut. He doesn’t mind being legendary. He’s okay with it. Hailing from legendary Joliet he feels that Chicago is a legendary improvement. Legendary Bitches…Legendary.

Angelina Martinez* (Set Designer) is a proud Factory member and is very excited to be designing the set for Bustin'. She has also designed sets for the Mammals and the now defunct Hi-Volt Theater Co. Angie is also an actor, having recently been seen in Factory's Shameless Shamuses, a director (Ceres) and will be assistant directing for Factory's upcoming season. Luv to Eric.

Nick Matonich (Lighting Designer) is excited to be working with the Factory. Graduate of Illinois State University he has designed for Mary Arrchie, Bohemian Theatre Ensemble and Chicago Dance Crash. He is also technical director for Chicago Dance Crash and is the master electrician for Remy Bumppo.

Chas Vrba* (Sound Designer) has designed sound for many Factory shows. Bustin' Out of the Hell is the latest one. He works around town as an actor, sound designer, and DJ. He serves as the Factory's Managing Director and thanks you for coming to the show. He has stopped writing funny bios preferring to let the humor found on stage to speak for itself. However, if you find the show to be not funny he firmly believes you are going straight to hell.

Laura McKenzie* (Original Music) made her Factory Theater debut as actor and contributor in the late-night hit Chicagostyle.  She has since written Janice Dutts Goes to Life Camp, co-written Ménage à Trailer and appeared in Janice Dutts, Operation Infiltration, The Willing Participant, Top Shelf…, Toast of the Town, Ménage à Trailer, and Being at Choice.  This summer’s Shameless Shamuses marked Laura’s directorial debut with the Factory.  A native Texan, Laura has lived and performed all across the country, including doing her one woman show Laura McKenzie Feels Like Makin’ Love in Chicago, New York and Seattle. Other writer-performer credits include: Picked Up and Alice with the Neo-Futurists, Funk Cloud: Fight the Stank! and Waiting On Godot (co-written with Kate Hawley).  Laura is a graduate of Northwestern University and company member of Barrel of Monkeys.

Allisa-Zee Hartmann (Costume Designer) received her BA in Dance and Theater Arts from Beloit College in 2004 and in 2007 she received her Associates in Fashion Design from IADT, Chicago. She is the resident costume designer for the dance companies Thread Meddle Outfit and The Space/Movement Project, and has also designed for The Movement Architects, Rebound Dance, LIVE ANIMALS, Colleen Halloran, RTG Dance and Synapse Arts Collective. Her theater credits include Assistant Designer of Porchlight Theater's Phantom of the Opera and  We don't like being shushed! a Redmoon Neighborhood Arts Program Production. She was the Head Designer of Stage Left Theater's Leap Fest Five play festival as well as designing select pieces for the Chicago game show Impress these Apes! at the Lakeshore Theater. www.allisazee.com

Heather Tyler* (Props Designer) helped out with props for this show. She was tickled to do it.  Normally jamming out with her tribute 80’s hair band, Slice of Pi, she's been spotted rocking out to such hits as "Dirty Poison Rose dragged me in the basement with a poontang on my head" and "Saturday nite with Beave's mom yeah! is-it-like-you-thought-it'd-be, yeah yeah!"

Julie Wallace (Graphic Designer) is interested in making pretty pictures, writing stuff and changing the world through art, sarcasm and an occasional good deed. She is happy that the Factory provides a constructive outlet for her to do these things even if it's pure blasphemy.
