Synopsis

The victims:  A dead woman.  A missing girl.  The suspects:  A famed film director.  A recently released mental patient.  Detectives Mac and Chooch are on the case.  The only trouble is, are they getting closer to a killer or are all their leads ending up dead wrong?  The Factory Theater presents a tale of cops and killers in the city of Chicago that is not for the squeamish.

TIMOTHY C. AMOS (Jake Bigsby) is so happy to be working at "home" with the Factory and the cast of DEAD WRONG. Timothy was last seen in MOP TOP FESTIVAL right here with the Factory and is happy you are here supporting theatre in Chicago "where it's at", the store fronts. Thanks to Mom and Dad, Lizard and friends whom I love dearly. Still scared of elk, and Jeff Gordan sucks. However, Krystal (my dog) is awesome. Enjoy the show. Hugs.

ZACH BLOOMFIELD (Sam Austin) feels privileged to be part of the DEAD WRONG ensemble and is grateful to the Factory for the opportunity to play (his cats, on the other hand, wish he would give up this theatre nonsense and stay home). Zach has acted and directed at several colleges and universities in the "middle" of the U.S. (KSU, NDSU, CU, UMC, JJC) and most recently appeared in THE RIMERS OF ELDRITCH at Joliet Junior College where he teaches theatre courses and serves as chair of the Fine Arts Department.

ALLISON CAIN (Donna) is very excited to be in her first Factory show since 2005. She started working with the Factory in 1997 and was invited to join the ensemble in 2000. In 2002 she was elected Executive Director, a role that she continued until she decided it was time for someone else to enjoy the fun in 2007. Past Factory favorites include: FAT, THE BARBARA WALTERS INTERVIEWS, HERB STABLER WANDERING SPIRIT, THE LIFE AND DEATH OF BARB BUDONOVICH, DICK DANGER, BEING AT CHOICE, MÉNAGE À TRAILER, TOAST OF THE TOWN and TOP SHELF. Previously, Allison was also the Artistic Director of Studio 108 from 1991 – 1996. She received her training at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, PA and Columbia College in Chicago and has worked almost exclusively on new work since 1990, in Los Angeles, Connecticut, Scotland and Chicago. Allison is also currently the Managing Director of Lifeline Theatre where she has also worked as an actor in JOHNNY TREMAIN, CROSSING CALIFORNIA, THE MARK OF ZORRO and MARIETTE IN ECSTASY. She is thrilled to have finally made the full time transition to the not for profit theater world where she can remain committed to the production of new works. Thanks to Manny.

MARLANA MAY CARLSON (Stage Manager) originally hails from Baltimore, MD, but Chicago is her 'favoritist' place of all. She has a BA in Theatre from Oberlin College, 2003. This is her 18th production, 12th in association with Prop Thtr. Recent credits include AMERICAN NOTES (WAFF), THE SOLID GOLD CADILLAC (Open Eye Productions) and BUSTIN’ OUT OF THE HELL (Factory Theater). This is her 2nd show with the Factory. Yay!!

ERNIE DEAK (Props Master) has been a proud member of the Factory Theater ensemble since 2005. That's right. Proud. He was last seen in the mega-smash hit MOP TOP FESTIVAL as Chantal the Beatles Mentalist. He has appeared in other shows. He has written and co-written a few, too, including TOAST OF THE TOWN (with Scott OKen) and SHAMELESS SHAMUSES. Thanks for coming out to support the local arts. Love to Tracy!

CORRI FEUERSTEIN (Becky/Mrs. Chambers) is screaming with joy (for a change) at the opportunity to be a part of the awesomeness that is DEAD WRONG. This is her 6th production with the Factory, where she is a proud ensemble member. She is also a proud Founding Director of Will Act For Food. She's even a proud singer in the all-Factory band, The Cain Mutiny. Maybe Corri is too proud, but she digresses. Corri has worked with lots of companies on lots of shows and she'll tell you all about them later. She is also happily gearing up for MARRIAGE TO PASKO 2010 - a show not to be missed, though you might if she doesn't know you. Thanks for coming, thanks to friends, thanks to Mom.

DANN FRANKE (Set Designer) is a full-time teacher, coach, and director at Lemont High School. He would like to thank the Factory folks for letting him practice his craft outside the classroom, and he would like to thank his beautiful wife, Diane, and his amazing daughters, Delaney and Logan, for supporting him in all of his time-consuming endeavors. You might think that they don’t miss me much when I’m gone, but you’d be… Dead Wrong!

JOSH GRAVES (Cass/Red) has been working as a Stage Manager, Assistant Director and Actor in Chicago since 2004. He was last seen in Factory Theater's MOP TOP FESTIVAL in the role of Mark Diaz. He sends his love to Joie and his entire Factory family.

BRIAN HINKLE (The Kid) is delighted to be involved with such a wonderful cast in his first production at the Factory Theater. Chicago credits include OUR TOWN (The Hypocrites), CAROLE WHITE AND THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS (Gorilla Tango), HAPPY FEET (A.C.T. Company). He wishes to thank his family and friends, as well as Manny for this wonderful opportunity.

TONY INGRAM (Sound Designer) is crazy happy to be working with the Factory for the first time! Usually he hangs out with Signal Ensemble Theatre, where he is the resident Sound Designer / Production Manager. Recently his work could be heard in Signal's THE PRIME OF MISS JEAN BRODIE, the Right Brain Project's ...HANDCUFFS ON THE FLOWERS... and Shattered Globe's LITTLE FOXES. If he's not working on sound, you can find Tony building, designing, performing in, directing and stage-managing productions all over the Chicagoland area. He would like to thank Jill, Kyle, Erik and Stephanie for their love and support, and dedicates his work to Marlene.

STEVE JAMRUS (Graphic Designer): This erstwhile ne'er-do-well has been known to do design work for various theater companies and local music acts around Chicago (usually in exchange for a quart of bourbon, or repayment of gambling debts). He claims to have gone to Columbia College Chicago and International Academy of Design & Technology and, as he puts it: "got me a degree or two in artsy kinda stuff." He can be contacted either by a blind mail drop in Croatia, or at stevejamrus@yahoo.com.

ANDERSON LAWFER (Clarence): This is Anderson’s first show with the Factory Theater. He is an ensemble member at Strawdog Theatre where he was last seen in RED NOSES. He is also the host of the GAME SHOW SHOW…AND STUFF! at the Lakeshore Theater and THEATER WARS! at Strawdog Theatre.

ANGELINA MARTINEZ (Asst. Director): This is Angie's first time assistant directing for Factory and is having a ball working with Manny and her fellow Factory friends old and new. Angie's Factory credits include MOP TOP FESTIVAL (Colleen), BUSTIN’ OUT OF THE HELL (set designer), SHAMELESS SHAMUSES (Mrs. Hohenzollern), and CERES (director). Angie has worked with various Chicago theater companies in a variety of capacities over the years and hopes to continue for years to come. Love to Eric. Viva la Raza.

THE NEW BERWYN RAMBLERS (Cognac Club Songs) Are:
Ted Beranis of The Special 20's- bass
Jim St. Marie of The Special 20's- guitar
Jon Richter of Hurricane Gumbo and Underbelly- guitar and piano
Mark Mosher of 12 Gauge Noise- drums

SCOTT PASKO (Cameron) makes his third appearance with The Factory Theater, after having the time(s) of his life in SISKEL & EBERT SAVE CHICAGO and MOP TOP FESTIVAL! Scott hails from the West Coast but has been in Chicago for over 11 years now. He is a graduate of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and holds his BFA from Southern Oregon University. Scott serves as Executive Director of Will Act For Food (www.willactforfood.com) and couldn't be happier to take part in this production of DEAD WRONG!! Thanks to Manny and Factory for letting him play again and cast and crew for such an amazing experience. He's looking forward to taking a little break from the stage soon and will be focusing on the greatest production of his life, his marriage to Corri next year. Enjoy the show!

ERIC THOMAS ROACH (Mac) is thoroughly stoked to be appearing in his 871st Factory production. You may have recently seen him in Strawdog's RED NOSES. If you didn't...he's sorry, as his performance was special and important to many people. He's also worked with the fabulous drunken lunatics at the Griffin, Lifeline, Mammals, Raven, and The Hypocrites. This fall he will be directing Chas Vrba's sci-fi Chicago sports opus 1985 for the Factory. Finally, a chance to use lasers and rocketships! He loves his Factory family and his wonderful friends all over the city. Love to Angel (great job, babycakes!).

RACHEL M. SYPNIEWSKI (Costume Designer) is at it again with the crazy talented people at the Factory. Her most recent designs include MOP TOP FESTIVAL with the Factory, GRAPES OF WRATH with Infamous Commonwealth, and AMERICAN NOTES with Will Act for Food. Rachel has also worked with a variety of other Chicago theatre companies, totaling over 60 productions. She couldn't possibly pick a favorite. If you enjoyed her work tonight, you can catch her next design at the Theatre Building Chicago for Vitalist Theatre's production of NIGHT SEASON. Much love to Robb, Tiny, Lucky and the newest addition, Squirt.

DAN TAMARKIN (Lighting Designer & Weapons Master) is thrilled to be designing once again with the Factory. Recently Dan has designed lights for Will Act For Food’s productions of FRANKENSTEIN IN LOVE and AMERICAN NOTES, as well as scenic for the Factory’s RENFAIRE! A FISTFUL OF DUCATS. A writer and theatrical designer and consultant for organizations across the country, Dan is also an avid mountaineer and ice climber when he’s not playing strings with Habeas Porpoise. Thanks to all at the Factory for another wonderful opportunity, to Laura Miracle, and to everyone here tonight for supporting local arts. Enjoy!

MANNY TAMAYO (Writer/Director): Manny last wrote OPERATION INFILTRATION and last directed DIRTY DIAMONDS. He hails from Joliet.

JERMAINE THOMAS (Asst. Stage Manager): is glad you are reading his bio, and looking to learn a little about him. Well, here we go. This is his second time working with the awesome people of Factory *applauds & cheers*. His first show with these guys was MOP TOP FESTIVAL. It was an awesome experience. With that said, he is here again pumped up and ready for some more kick ass times. Enjoy the show. P.S. He is honored to be working with such a fine assortment of people on DEAD WRONG.

ANTHONY TOURNIS (Chooch) is an ensemble member with the Factory. He has recently been seen in BUSTIN’ OUT OF THE HELL, and even more recently got married to Stacie Barra...he loves her. He wants you to like the show.

C.W. VanBaale (Technical Director) can be seen behind the scenes and on stage with several theater companies about town. Most recently he appeared in Will Act For Food’s production of AMERICAN NOTES.
