Colin Milroy (Nick) has been haunting the Factory Theater since 2007. In addition to co-writing and performing in The New Adventures of Popeye, Colin spirited around on the Factory stage in Siskel and Ebert Save Chicago,Bustin’ Out of The Hell, Operation Infiltration and GI’s In Europe. He has also served as a ghost director and phantom producer for other Factory shows. Before this happy theatrical home, Colin frequented the haunts of The Hypocrites, Raven Theater, Stage Left Theater and many others. Many thanks to the cast and crew for the time and talent they gave to make this story happen. Extra thanks to the Factory Theater for its role in the show’s development. Much love to Kori, George and Frances for their support. Thank you for supporting the Factory Theater. You have kept my spirits up.

Jill Oliver (Sally) is very grateful to the Factory for making her one of their newest ensemble members. As she is terrified of horror films and general spookiness, this has been quite an experience for her. Jill would like to thank the mean ghost that turns her lamp on at night. She also would like to thank it for keeping her awake with it's creepy monotone singing voice. You may have also seen Jill in the Factory's Hey Dancin! or The League of Awesome. Other Chicago credits include Romeo & Juliet with Shattered Globe, Hamlettes and Boys' Life. Jill would like to thank her Mom and Dad for being awesome and coming to every show she's ever been in.

RAY BRAZASKI (Detective Murray), on a personal note, wants to let his old friends and new friends involved with The Gray Girl know that they are unquestionably awesome. Also, if you find this program in a pile of old scrap papers years from now, this was the year these things happened: NASA's space shuttle program ended, R.E.M. called it quits after 30 years, Bill O'Reilly was still on TV, Arch West--the creator of Doritos--died at the age of 97, and The Gray Girl marked Ray's 7th show with the Factory Theater. All regrettable occurrences. Except for that R.E.M. thing. Ray needs to get better with words.

Matt Engle (Director/Fight Design) has been a company member with the Factory Theater since '03. Directing credits include: League of Awesome (Factory Theater) and Sex, Drugs & Rock N Roll (Stone Soup Prod.). Fight Design credits: The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter (Steppenwolf), Where We're Born (Northwestern/Steppenwolf); Wuthering Heights (Lifeline Theatre); 2000 Feet Away, Insignificance and Breathing Corpses (Steep Theatre); Hot 'N' Throbbing (Pine Box Theatre); Marathon '33 (Strawdog Theatre); The End (Black Sheep Theatre); and League of Awesome, Siskel & Ebert Save Chicago and Ren Faire! A Fistful of Ducats (Factory Theatre).
Ernie Deak (Assistant Production Manager) is a proud Factory Theater ensemble member. He most recently appeared in Factory's Black and Blue as Cassell. Prior to that, he co-wrote and assistant-directed Easy Six. He has had a busy 2011. He is also contemplating closing this bio with a really witty button but is pretty certain you've long since stopped reading.
Paul Foster (Lighting Designer) digs the creepy. He's a company member of WildClaw Theatre, where dead things are almost always the stars of the show. He lit this summer's smash "Black and Blue" and is filled with gratitude to the Factory for the chance to come back and play some more. And Paul loves his beautiful wife. Just saying.
Patrick Holland (Assistant Director/Dramaturg/Assitant Sound Designer) has been doing theater since high school. In college he met Matt Engle. They did a lot of plays together. A lot. Patrick now directs plays and short films in Chicago and Wisconsin. Thanks to the Factory and Matt for having me on board.
Jason Moody (Poster Boy) is an American engineer, systems theorist, author, designer, inventor, futurist and second president of Mensa
International, the high IQ society. He also enjoys catching up on
episodes of Weeds.
Joseph Riley (Set Designer) has designed the scenery for a few Factory shows (The League of Awesome, Easy Six, and Black and Blue to be precise), but this time around he's married and living in New York City. The recent change says nothing about his unending love for working with this wacky crew. Thanks Matt and Joe and Phil and Tom!
Elizabeth Styles (Props Mistress) is thrilled to be playing with the Factory folks once again. She likes them a lot. She does a bunch of different stuff - acting, fighting, choreographing and sometimes she builds stuff. This time, it's Props Mistress. The safe word is pelican.
Tom Aufmann (Technical Director) is excited to be working with The Factory again! The unique set design, AGAIN a tricky project from the extremely talented Joe Riley, made it even more interesting. Tom’s other productions include “Forever Plaid” with the Highland Park Players, “Life is a Dream” with Vitalist Theatre of Chicago, “Easy Six” and “1985 Remount” with Factory Theatre, “The Doll’s House”, “Escape from Happiness” and “The Crucible”, all with Infamous Commonwealth Theater. Although Tom is ‘technically’ retired, he loves the challenge and excitement of being provided a drawing and bringing it to life on stage! Tom wants to thank Matt, Joe Gehr, Phil and Colin for their hard work, dedication and expertise. Tom would like to thank his family -- Kris, Steph, Tootsie (the dog) and Nickademus (the cat) -- for their support. Tom hopes to have a chance to work with all the people involved in The Factory again! Enjoy the show!
