Timothy C Amos is happy to continue his work at his factory home! Thanks to this cast crew and the for helping the Factory continue to grow. Thanks to my family and freinds for their contant support of this addictive life in theatre. Thank you for not being at Billy Elliot tonight and supporting the heart of Chicago theatre at the storefronts. Enjoy the show and then we can all go smack Billy Elliot around. What an annoying kid!

Ray Brazaski- Reporter, Geek, Koken, Waiter, Boy, Goon
| |
Ray Brazaski’s primary super power is Enjoying Stream-Of-Consciousness While Having Great Difficulty Writing A Bio. Well. It’s not much, but if you’re still reading this you’re witnessing him harness his power to its fullest effect. Feel free to stitch that into a pillow. Tonight you will see Ray on stage sometimes but sometimes you won’t see him on stage. That’s because this is not his one-man show “Why the Hell is Ray Always on Stage, Damnit?” That script is in “turn-around”. That’s showbiz talk for “this thing’s got legs”. That’s spider talk for “Hey! I can see my reflection”. Which is Barbra Streisand talk for “Either that’s my face in the mirror, or it’s got two faces. Jeff Bridges? What the hell are you doing here?” It all comes back to Babs, don’t ask me why. But I digress. If you’re a regular Factory go-er, you may have seen Ray in Ren-Faire: A Fistful of Ducats, Bustin’ Out of the Hell, and Mop Top Festival. Here’s the thanking part: Engle (a hyphenated man that I’m privileged to work with. Again!). Feuerstein (you can make me laugh and punch me anytime. Not necessarily in that order). Sevigny (your prowess intimidates me…and I like it!). Cast (I’m humbled by all of you. Thank you). Jessica (if I were you I would have left me a long time ago. You’re magical). Joseph! Remember when we were pirates? Oken and dinosaurs. Ray’s superpower: Realized.

Wm. Bullion- Gladys
| |
Wm. Bullion (Gladys) is a 25-year veteran of the Chicago Fringe theater scene. This is the first time he’s ventured beyond the fringe to work at the Factory Theater. He’s a little intimidated. Most recently, Billy was seen in the epic Building Stage production of The Ring Cycle where he originated the roles of Alberich, Fasolt, and Hagen. Previously, he played jaded ace detective Nick Charles in City Lit’s The Thin Man and Matt Danaher in Prop Thtr’s smash-hit Hizzoner: Daley the First. Prior to that, Mr. Bullion was in Hamlet (Building Stage), The (W)Hole Thing (Stage Left), Romeo & Juliet (Oak Park Festival), and many plays with his own company, Sliced Bread Productions.

Catherine Dughi*- Lucia
| |
Catherine would like to start out by saying she loves Jamba Juice. Next, she would like to say that she absolutely LOVES the idea of being in shows about superheroes with lots of fighting involved. She would like to continue doing that for a long, long time. It just may be her life's purpose. Tertiarily, she loves Corri and Sara for writing this madness, and Engle for letting her convince him to be in it. That was a long six months... (3.5 - and I am going to convince you to let us have a cast movie night, too, Engle.) D. She sends out all the love in the world to her Five Families (in alphabetical order): Dughi, Factory, Fritz, McCormick and WAFF. Most especially to Nuggie. Ultimately: Mitakuye Oyas'in.

Corri Feuerstein- Zoe
| |
Corri Feuerstein’s voicemail has declared her a part-time superhero for the last few years. She can now back that up by putting on a shiny costume in front of you all with an astonishingly kickass cast and crew. She has a hard time expressing how ridiculously happy this makes her. Corri is a Factory ensemble member, appearing in other odd costumes in Top Shelf, GIs in Europe, Siskel & Ebert Save Chicago, and Bustin’ Out of Hell; and almost no costume in Dead Wrong. She was last seen tumbling around and singing Jon Langford tunes for The House Theatre of Chicago in All the Fame of Lofty Deeds. Corri is also Founding Director of Will Act For Food, and reminds you that they are scrappy and will rock your face. Thanks to her amazing writing partner and friend, Sara, for the first of many; and to all of Factory. Thanks to Pasko for love, support and being her future husband and last name provider. Corri dedicates this show to her mom, the original superhero that she misses every day.

Sara Gorsky can’t believe she is hanging out with the Factory! Dreams do come true. She recently appeared as Ilse in Promethean’s Spring Awakening and as the Doll in the Mammals’ Breed With Me. She has also worked with Lifeline, WNEP, Strawdog, the Resonants, Richard Crowe and the Port Washington Pirate Festival. Thanks and love to her family and MK. You’re welcome!

Matt Kahler- Commissioner Byrd
| |
Matt Kahler is aroused to be returning to the Factory for the third time, having previously appeared in Ren-Faire! A Fistful of Ducats and Operation Infiltration. He has worked locally with The Hypocrites, Adventure Stage Chicago, and WNEP. He just got a bike, so maybe he'll be alive by the time the show opens. Or not - he is ungainly on wheels. And on foot. But man, is he beautiful when he flies.

Paul Metreyeon- Marty Horticoop
| |
Paul Metreyeon (Marty Horticoop) Is a proud ensemble member of Factory since 2005. He was last seen as the Assistant Director to Factory's "1985", and will reprise that role at the end of this summer for the Remount downtown! On stage, he was last seen as the lovable Cheech, in Factory's own Mop Top Festival, where one paper called him, "Somehow Not Creepy". Thank you all for coming to the show and for supporting Original Work.

Jill Oliver- Koken, Patron, Piercee, Goon
| |
Jill Oliver makes her second debut or debut sequel with the Factory crew. Did you see their last show, Hey! Dancin'!? Yeah, she was in that. She also plays softball with them. Well, when she's not rehearsing or when weather permits. Jill graduated from Columbia College and studied theatre in Dublin. The Ireland Dublin not the Ohio Dublin. She is super excited to be a part of this production, and even more jazzed that she gets the opportunity to punch and kick fellow cast members.

Casey Pilkenton- Woman, Mother, Erica Drisdale, Goon, Koken
| |
Casey Pilkenton is so excited to continue her love affair with the Factory by being a part of this show. She was most recently seen as one third of the clueless "tripod" in Hey! Dancin'! Casey is an artistic associate at Chemically Imbalanced Comedy theater and performs regularly with their house improv team, 96D. Before joining that family, she worked in Las Vegas as front of house entertainment at Cirque Du Soliel's Ka. When she isn't performing, Casey is writing short stories and sketch comedy. Casey would like you to know she is a lover, not a fighter...unless you're annoying, then all bets are off.

Jon Sevigny- Koken, Old Man, Librarian, Goon

Jon Sevigny is not sorrowful to part of another Factory Theater production, especially this one! There is something about the writing that got his attention! Sevigny is Executive Director of Open Eye Productions and a founding member. He has performed with other great companies around the city such as Will Act For Food and Open Eye. He thanks his wife Sara and family for their support. He is ecstatic to be on stage with all these players! MEX3

Sara R. Sevigny SYLVIA Greetings citizens. Welcome to the awesomeness that is this bio...mine...which you are perusing at your current place of comfort. Settle in...relax...and bask in the glory that is the female half of Sevigny. A proud member of The Factory Theater, I'm amazed that we're finally here. There is a moment, if you're lucky, when you find your other half. I've had that moment twice. First, with the male half of Sevigny, whose strength and patience inspires me daily, and secondly with my wonderful friend, Corri...the best damn writing partner in the universe. She is, you know. Of course you know. She's friggin amazing. I've been extraordinarily fortunate to have worked with the best damn off-loop theatre companies in Chicago, to have co-founded Open Eye with her husband for an 11 amazing year run, and to have found a home here at Factory. Thank you OKen for your encouragement, every damn person who sat for a reading or helped us with rewrites, and Engle your vision and spirit. I feel very blessed. Love and laughter to the Elesh brood and to my love in life, Jon. mex3

Troppy- Rumble
| |
Troppy is happy to be a part of this creation from two of her favorite ladies, even though she vowed to take it easy this summer while on break from grad school (the things I do for you people). Troppy has performed, puppeted, make-upped, propped, and PR-ed for various companies and productions in Chicago over the years, but is too busy to list them right now. If you care to know, just ask her later. Troppy's secret identities include: artistic staff member of Will Act For Food, and one half of Curious Relations, who you should be hiring to create kick ass publicity materials for your productions. When not writing about herself in the third person, Troppy spends her days deciding the collegiate fates of high school theater kids, and her nights grilling in the yard. All manner of ridiculous assortments of mad love for The Monkey Jerkface.

MATT ENGLE (Director) is excited to be back and working with the lovely Factory Theater, where he's been a proud ensemble member for the past 7 years. Some of his favorite roles here have included Vic in Dirty Diamonds, Brad in Janice Dutts Goes To Life Camp, Cy Curnin in Toast of the Town and Hero in Ren Faire! A Fistful of Ducats which he wrote and designed fights. Outside companies Matt has been fortunate to work with are WildClaw Theatre (Legion), Lifeline Theatre (Treasure Island), Chicago Dance Crash (Movement/Gentlemen), Griffin Theatre (Stinky Cheese Man), Theatre Wit (Feydeau Si Deau), Strawdog Theatre (Marathon '33) and Steep Theatre (Howie the Rookie). He has also designed fights for the Neo-Futurists (The Fool Returns To His Chair), Steep (Insignificance, 2000 Feet Away and Breathing Corpses), Pine Box (Hot 'N' Throbbing) and Strawdog (Marathon '33). Matt can also be seen as a swashbuckling, ass kickin', move bustin' pirate clown at Navy Pier.
Phil Claudnic (Stage Manager) is proud to be back for his second Factory show having just worked on Hey! Dnacin! And now I have returned! That’s how awesome Factory is. By day he tries to make money by any means because let’s face it, vanquishing evil with stage management skills doesn’t pay rent. Lately, the US government has been giving him pay checks for counting the citizens of Chicago in the census. You’ll rue the day I knock on your door!
Joseph Riley (Set Designer) This is Joseph's first time working with Factory, although he has participated in a number of their performances as an audience member. You can see other work by Joseph here at Prop Thtr in any Brain Surgeon Theater production (brainsurgeontheater.org), in a smattering of Prop's own productions, and occasionally as a brew-slinger behind the concessions bar. Joseph has also designed sets for Trap Door Theatre, The Artistic Home, Highland Park Players, and Sideshow Theatre. Feel free to look at josephleeriley.com for some pictures of what he's done. Joseph would like to thank Ray for introducing him to the Factory clowns, Matt and Ernie for letting him design a 3-D comic book, and LIz (just 'cause).
Gary C. Echelmeyer (Lighting Design) Design credits include: 1985 with Factory Theatre; Miracle On 34th Street, Macabaret, and Once On This Island with Porchlight Music Theatre; Yoni Ki Baat with Rasaka Theatre Company; Seussical: The Musical and Hello, Dolly! with Elgin Community College; A Flea In Her Ear, Little Shop of Horrors, A Christmas Story, I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change and You Can’t Take It With You with Texas Repertory Theatre; Chicago, Sweeney Todd, and Thoroughly Modern Millie with Clinton Area Showboat Theatre. Assistant design credits include: Taming of the Shrew with Chicago Shakespeare Theatre; Mimesophobia with Theatre Seven of Chicago; Elisir d’Amore with Tulsa Opera; and over twenty-five productions with Houston Grand Opera. Gary has worked with Aspen Opera Theatre Center, Opera Illinois, Northlight Theatre, Court Theatre, Metropolis Performing Arts Centre, Theatre Under The Stars (Houston), Illinois and Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festivals, and Chicago Dance Crash. Gary earned his B.S. in Theatre Design & Production at Illinois State University. Visit Gary’s online design portfolio: www.lightingbygce.com.
Rachel M. Sypniewski (Costume Designer) loves working with the Factory and always appreciates their commitment to the lighter-side of life and always remembering that it is called a play. Ms. Sypniewski has designed well over 70 shows in the Chicago storefront theatre community, some of her favorites include,Frankenstein in Love and American Notes with Will Act For Food, Hey Dancin'! and RenFaire: A Fist Full of Ducats with the Factory, The Grapes of Wrath, The Kentucky Cycle and The Crucible with Infamous Commonwealth, and Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum with St. Patrick's High School. She is a company member of Infamous Commonwealth, an artistic associate with New Leaf Theatre, and a stage manager for Quade Productions. Much love to Robb, Lucky, Squirt and Twilight.
Kathy Mountz (Props Designer) is excited to be working on her first show with the Factory Theatre. Recent Chicago credits include Into the Woods, Miracle on 34th Street and Macabaret at Porchlight Music Theatre, The Ghosts of Treasure Island at Adventure Stage Chicago, Yoni Ki Baat and culture/clash with Rasaka Theatre Company, and The Quiet Man Tales with Smock Alley Theatre Company. Kathy holds a BA in Stage Management from Western Michigan University.
Jennifer Pompa (Assistant Fight Choreographer) loves the AWSOME cast and crew of this show. A Factory ensemble member and Chicago native, she was last seen acting in Factory Theater’s late night extravaganza, Hunky Dory. She also did the fight choreography for that show and a few others for the Factory. (Sometimes, in collusion with Director Extraordinaire, Matt Engle.) Currently, she is the resident fight choreographer at Navy Pier, where she makes pirates fight. Happy, happy, joy, joy.
Jason Moody (Graphic Designer) has been/is a graphic designer, songwriter/musician, photographer, advocate for new urbanism and more or less decent human being. Took acting in high school, wondered why in class they were
imitating trees and not diving straight into scenes from his favorite screwball comedies. He continues to wonder.
