Factory Theater Presents...CHICAGOSTYLE

Written by the cast and Factory Theater ensemble members and directed by Jessi D. Hill, Chicagostyle opens Friday, June 6th at 11:00 p.m at Angel Island, 731 W. Sheridan. Chicagostyle runs Friday and Saturday nights at 11:00 p.m. through June 28th. All tickets are $8.00. Patrons can reserve seats by calling the Factory Hotline at 312.409.3247 or by showing up at the box office within a half-hour prior to curtain.

Director Jessi D. Hill is Stage Left's Artistic Director. She most recently directed the critically acclaimed World Premieres of Mia McCullough's Suicide, Brett Neveu's Empty and the Jeff Nominated "Best of 2002 Theatre in the Chicago Tribune and Sun-Times" production of Mrs. Mackenzie's Beginner's Guide to the Blues at Stage Left. Other Stage Left credits include Dimly Perceived Theatres to the System, Private Passage, Scratch, and Sex Signals. Jessi has also directed and developed numerous new plays at Chicago Dramatists, Live Bait, and Mary Arrchie among others. Jessi will direct the World Premiere of David Rush's Cuttings this fall at Stage Left.

Chicagostyle is a return to The Factory Theater Company's writing roots. The cast and Factory Theater ensemble members have created a series of sketches and vignettes that simultaneously celebrate and skewer life in the Windy City. After closing out their 10th Anniversary Season with the smash hit Among the Dead; The Factory kicked off it's 11th season with George Brant's Dick Danger DJ Crime Solver! which The Chicago Reader called "a lively comedy…sure to entertain." Chicagostyle is the second offering of the 11th Season and lands in the late night slot made famous by outrageous Factory fare such as the classic White Trash Wedding and a Funeral, the ridiculous Factory Match Game and the experimental Lab Rats. Chicagostyle continues the Factory Theater tradition of writing and producing new works to provide the Chicago community with laughter and inspiration.
