Synopsis

Something strange is happening in the small town of Coopersville, Illinois. It started with three unusual characters seen near the town’s reservoir – the source for the town’s entire water supply. Within a matter of days, as these three individuals assimilate into Coopersville society, bizarre events unfold. Where did they come from? Who sent them? And what’s up with all the shrieking?

Follow the lives of Andy and Gina, high school seniors preoccupied with the everyday challenges of teendom, and their father Dave, a grocery clerk at the Piggly Wiggly, as they watch the world as they know it self-destruct. Will they ever find out who is behind the mayhem and the madness – and why?

Everything comes to a head as all forces converge on Coopersville, waging a war unknown to the rest of America…..at least for now.

bullet The Cast

  Mike Beyer (Dave)

Mike loves you, because you are here to see Operation Infiltration -- a clinic in theatrical ass-kickery! When Mike first joined the Factory, Bush the Elder was president, everyone thought REM was an important band, and homes in Wicker Park cost about as much as a gallon of gasoline. He's been in several Factory productions since then, most recently Toast of The Town, Poppin & Lockdown 2 and Here Comes A Regular. He is particularly excited to do a horror show, and always enjoys working with Nick, OKen and Allison. Not to mention the new(er) Factory rock stars like McKenzie, Manny, Tournis, Tucker, Roach, etc. He sends his love to wife Eileen, son Declan, and (for the first time in a Factory bio) daughter Jessie. His favorite horror movies are The Blair Witch Project, Halloween and The Blair Witch Project.

  Mike Beyer

  Tucker Curtis (Ensemble)

Tucker Curtis is thrilled to once again be on stage with his friends at The Factory. He has been fortunate enough to work with them before on Poppin' and Lockdown II, Toast of the Town, The Lonesome Hoboes, and this summer's GIs In Europe. He has also received national attention as an original member and unofficial historian/mouthpiece of "Thinkprov" (where patience equals perfection), which he helped start with his brother, Don, and brothers Gary and Gerald Reynolds. Tucker thanks each of them for their constant inspiration and education. Look for a website and no fewer than two books on the subject of Thinkprov coming in early 2007. Tucker loves pudding.

  Tucker Curtis

  Andria Emerick (Ensemble/Wendy)

Andria is excited to join the Factory Theater in performance for the first time. Some of her past theatrical roles include Honey in Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf, Inez in No Exit, Sylvie in The Odd Couple (the female version), Susanne in Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and Cecile in Dangerous Liaisons. She was well prepared for her present role, having recently played a character brought back from the dead in Sleep’s Grimm Sister. Being a fan of horror films, such as, The Haunting, The Bad Seed, and The Shining also gave her inspiration for her part in this production. Thanks to all who love and support her through every role she plays.

  Andria Emerick

  Rebecca Gallagher (Ensemble/Mom)

This is Rebecca's first show with The Factory and she couldn't be more excited. Some of her all time favorite horror flicks include, The People Under The Stairs, Carrie and Pet Cemetery. Rebecca would like to thank her family and her partner in crime, Zeb for the continuous support.

  Rebecca Gallagher

  Matt Kahler (#3)

Matt is a recent Chicago transplant and hopes his body does not reject the city. This is his first Factory Show Ever. He wishes for nothing more than all your money, and would like to apologize to all those people on that bus that one time. Thanks to Meghan for her love and nigh-eternal patience.

  Matt Kahler

  Robin Kelso (Ensemble)

Robin Kelso is thrillered to be working with The Factory Theater! Much love to her pals at Open Cage Ensemble where she spends most of her time acting and production managing.
Top 3 Horror Movie Picks: Last House on the Left, The Eye, and 28 Days Later.
  Robin Kelso

  Jennifer LaForte (Susie)

This is Jen’s first show with the Factory and she is very excited to be playing Susie. She just got back from LAMDA where she spent a year participating in a professional course. In Chicago, she was previously seen in, For Some Reason Comma She Laughed with the Revvolution Theater Company. She also has many film credits under her belt, etc. Her favorite horror films are The Shining, Nightmare on Elm Street (as a kid she loved it even though now it’s really cheesy) and any Halloween or Friday the 13th.

  Jennifer LaForte

  Jennifer LaTurner (Ensemble)

Jennifer is proud to be a native Texan and just recently moved to Chicago. This is her first production with the Factory Theater and she is thrilled to be working with all the cool people that are part of it. In a former life Jen was a professional ballet dancer with the Louisville Ballet, which is where she met her fabulous husband Robby. She spends most of her time performing with Navy Pier’s Buccaneers & Pirateville Pranksters and absolutely adores being a pirate. Who wouldn’t? She also thinks life is not complete without seeing The Silence of the Lambs, John Carpenter's Vampires, & the Alien Quadrilogy.

  Jennifer LaTurner

  Chris Maher (The General)

Chris is thrilled that his glandular problems have subsided long enough for him to perform in his very first Factory show! He is currently the Artistic Director for Open Eye Productions and will be directing, One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Steven Dietz’s, Trust for them next year. Not to be too forward, but do you know any six foot tall Native American actors? I mean, he has to be good too, not just tall. By the way, the FIRST, Nightmare on Elm Street and, How To Lose A Guy In Ten Days are his favorite horror movies. As always, Chris thanks his family and friends for all of their support.

  Chris Maher

  Bert Matias (Arturo)

Bert Matias is very thrilled to be cast in Factory Theatre’s Operation Infiltration: An Experiment in Terror. His past theatre works were at Chicago Dramatists, Bailiwick Theatre, the Purple Rose in Michigan, Mary-Arrchie, Profiles Theatre, Raven Theatre, Footsteps, Lifeline Theatre, Baum House Theatre, Pegasus Players, The Centre Theatre, Quest Ensemble, Pintig Cultural Theatre, Prop/Rasaka, Teatro Vista, Idle Muse and The Silk Road Theatre. Currently, he is seen in his first national cable and network TV commercial as the metal detector-wielding numismatist for the U.S. Mint. Opening soon in theatres (Thanksgiving Day ‘06) is the dark comedy Let’s Go To Prison where Bert is cast as the drugstore owner (in a scene with Will Arnett). He starred in 2003 in the 27-minute movie Employee Dang (title role) shot in New Orleans, which earned him and co-star Tuyet Bui a rave review from the Senses of Cinema online movie magazine. The 35-mm film competed in the 2004 SlamDance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, where Senses of Cinema picked it as second best of that film fest. Film Threat also gave it a great review that year. Also currently, Bert stars in a Chicago-produced short movie Nice Threads, Man! where he plays a Japanese shopkeeper adopted by a group of hip-hop thugs. (visit the website: NiceThreadsFilm.com to see trailer). Writer-director Michelle Kafko has entered the movie in several festivals including Chicago's April 2007 Asian-American Film Showcase at the Gene Siskel Film Center. Other feature films with bit parts for Bert are HBO’s Rogue Force, Chicago X’Ray Production’s A Cup of My Blood and IKEHOMAN Production’s The Book of Swords.

  Pamela Pierro

  Laura McKenzie (#2)

Laura is no stranger to aliens. When she was in third grade, her parents decided it was time they have "the talk". They informed her that they were not from planet Earth, that they were aliens with special blue tails (only appearing when asleep), and that their Beagle (named Bilbo Baggins) was not only the best dog ever, but also an outer space antenna. As an earthling, Laura was last seen poling it with a whoopee cushion in Top Shelf. Other Factory credits include: Toast of the Town, Ménage à Trailer (co-writer and performer), Being at Choice, and Chicagostyle. A native Texan, Laura has lived and performed all across the country, including doing her one woman show Laura McKenzie Feels Like Makin' Love in Chicago, New York and Seattle. Other writer-performer credits include: Alice with the Neo-Futurists, Funk Cloud: Fight the Stank! and Waiting On Godot (co-written with Kate Hawley). Laura is a graduate of Northwestern University, and does not have a job that offers health insurance. G5. (If you're from her planet, you'll know what that means.)
Top 3 horror films of all time. 1. Bush's state of the Union speeches 2. Simpson’s Halloween episodes and 3. The episode of Fantasy Island featuring the evil ventriloquist’s dummy.
  Laura McKenzie

  Mary M. Mechler (Ensemble)

Mary has worked with a number of regional theatres including Dorset Theatre Festival, Greenwoods Theatre, Hampstead Players, Bridgework Theatre, and two seasons at Tecumseh! In addition to playing a whore in American Opera Group’s Three Penny Opera, she’s done staged readings for Shakespeare Inc. and Chicago Theatre for Young Audiences has worked as the Development Director for CTYA. Mary completed her BA at Auburn University at Montgomery and her MFA at the University of Houston. Three favorite horror flicks are The Thing, 28 Days Later and Night of The Lepus (come one who doesn’t love giant man eating bunny rabbits?).

  Mary M. Mechler

  Colin Milroy (Mr. Liberty)

This is Colin’s second whirl with the fab Factory folks after this summer’s GIs In Europe. Colin’s done a lot of theater over his 11 years in Chicago, but rather than give you shivers with that tale, he’d rather you hear another one. It is of love and horror. In 1984, a young lad of 11 foolishly thought he could watch Nightmare on Elm Street by himself. After finishing the movie, the boy sprinted through his house, shutting ever window and closet door with all the power his tweener fright gave him. Once his shaking stopped, there was the reward: a lifelong connection. Thus was Colin’s love of the horror genre born. There are many horror movies that Colin loves, including the 1973 version of The Exorcist, but his true favorite is a modern classic: The Descent. Love and guts go out to Kori, his undead prom queen. So sit back, gentle victim, and enjoy our show. You can drink with Colin later, ask him about his theater and writing work, but for now, you might want to look behind you.

  Colin Milroy

  Erin Myers (Gina)

Erin has previously frolicked on the Factory stage in Top Shelf as Grace Mannix, the former Cinemax starlet turned feminist reporter extraodinaire. Since then she has worked with Lifeline Theatre as Cilla in Johnny Tremain, and with Irish Repertory as Triona in Love in The Title. Other favorite companies she’s worked with include The Hypocrites, Redmoon, Live Bait and Signal Ensemble Theatre. Favorite horror movies include, The Ring, The Shining and The Exorcist.

  Erin Myers

  Scott OKen (Wayne Franks)

Scott OKen is thoroughly pleased to be working in the Horror-live-action genre of the Factory Theater. His three favorite Horror films are: 1. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original, not that Jessica Biel bullshit, although she does have a nice rack) 2. Dracula: A.D. 1972 (or basically the entire Hammer Horror Library) and of course the original, 1931 Dracula. His three favorite guitars are: 1. Gibson Voodoo SG, 2. Fender American STrat Deluxe (preferably with the late 60's early 70's Large Headstock) and 3. the surprisingly kick axe PRS Standard SE! OKen has been in a shitload of Factory live-action plays, but he has never been a member of Huey Lewis and the News......damn.......

  Scott OKen

  Geoff Rice (Andy)

Geoff is thrilled to be making his Factory debut. In Chicago he has performed with a ton of great companies like Chicago Shakespeare, Lookingglass, About Face, Piven, Stage Left, Serendipity, Sandbox, and Infusion. His favorite horror movies are 28 Days Later, Return of the Living Dead, and April Fool's Day. Geoff is a Northwestern graduate, a huge Bears fan, and a proud company member of Barrel of Monkeys. He would like to thank Dan for his love and patience.

  Geoff Rice

  Eric Roach (Old Man Jenkins)

Eric Thomas Roach is excited as all get out to be acting again in Operation Infiltration! You may have seen him around. Can you guess where you've seen him before? He is a proud member of the Factory Ensemble and loves the entire audience collectively. For him to love you individually will be $100, as he has a mortgage to pay off. His three favorite horror movies, in this PRECISE order, are Night of The Living Dead, The Shining, and John Carpenter's The Thing. Love to his Angel.

  Eric Roach

  Nilsa Reyna (Ensemble/Rico’s Daughter)

Nilsa Reyna is excited to be working with Factory Theater for the first time. Her favorite horror films include: The Omen (1976), A Nightmare on Elm Street and the Scream trilogy. Select stage credits include: Escanaba in da Moonlight (Circle Theatre), And This Was Free, (Maxwell Street Foundation), Big Love (The Mill), The Maria Chronicles (Goodman Theatre Latino Festival), Anna in the Tropics (Victory Gardens Theater), Generic Latina (Teatro Luna) and The Wedding Album of Sandy Benito’s Wedding (Collaboraction Sketchbook). She wishes to thank her family and friends for their love and support, and especially Jeff who is always an inspiration.

  Nilsa Reyna

  Dan Rocha (Ensemble)

This is Dan's first show with Factory Theatre. He has appeared in several shows with The Mammals, including, The Devil Vet and, Breed with Me. He also performs at the Cornservatory with the Improv group, Flying With Penguins. His favorite horror films include, Dawn of the Dead, Alien, and, A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors.

  Dan Rocha

  Heather Shumacher (Ensemble)

Heather is pleased as punch to be in a horror play. I don’t scare easily, if at all, so then why have I always been such a huge fan of horror? Maybe it was my dad reading to me from Salem ’s Lot as a bedtime story? Hmmm.... Anyway, it’s definitely hard to choose my three favorite horror films of all time. For today I guess I’ll say: Zombi, Shaun of the Dead, and well, maybe The Exorcist. The 3 films that actually freaked me out however are: Cujo, The Blob, and The Mothman Prophesies. BOO!

  Heather Shumacher

  Jon Sevigny (Ensemble)

Jon Sevigny is juiced up to be working with factory folks. Jon is the Executive Director of Open Eye Productions. Recently he has returned to the theater after taking a break to make it in the "real world'. He could not find it. He has succumbed to a life of story telling in hopes to promulgate that all worlds are real. He appreciates your effort in coming here to escape your world and experience the unforeseeable terror that lurks in the mind of Manny Tamayo and Nick Digilio. He wants you to know he would never try this at home. His wife is the bestest person he has ever met. Thanks to her for his turn. He loves The Shining, the first Nightmare on Elm Street and Madonna. Now shut up, watch our story and get transfigured by Coopersville.

  Jon Sevigny

  John Siciliano (Rico)

John is excited to be stepping on the stage for the first time in a Chicago theater with The Factory. He originates from Pittsburgh, Pa where he received his BFA in Theater Arts from Point Park College. He migrated to NYC where he wrote and starred in Siciliano, an Off-Off-Broadway play based on his life. The show got national exposure on 60 Minutes, USA Today and People Magazine. Next step was the West Coast where he received his MFA in Theater Arts from The University of Southern California and hit the TV and Film Scene. He has been seen on Showtime’s “Sleeper Cell,” FX’s “Over There,” “ER,” “Scrubs,” “LAX” and “Days of Our Lives.” Some film Credits include “The Wager,” “End Games” and “Spongebob Squarepants The Movie”

  Heather Shumacher

  Anthony Tournis (#1)

Anthony Tournis is extremely happy to be one of the newest Ensemble members with the Factory Theater. Previous shows include Being At Choice, G.I.'s In Europe, Top Shelf..., and Toast of the Town. I , I mean, he has also worked with Chemically Imbalanced Comedy, The Right Brain Project, The Hypocrites, and High Volt. All my...his love to family, friends, Dawgs and Stacie. Favorite Horror movies: The Descent, The Thing, and Night of the Living Dead.

  Anthony Tournis

  Ben Veatch (Ensemble)

Ben Veatch is ecstatic to have the opportunity to perform for you and to work with Factory Theatre. He was most recently seen as Peter in The GreyZelda Theatre Group’s, Desire Under The Elms and as Halprin/Withrow in Boxer Rebellion’s, God’s Country. Other credits include Lizzy in Seven Out and Nef in The Theory of Everything, both with dueEast Theatre, Valere in Tartuffe with Wing & Groove Theatre, and Daryl in Scary Godmother with Runamuck Productions. My three favorite horror movies are Prince of Darkness, A Tale of Two Sisters, and The Grudge.

  Ben Veatch

  Lindsay Weisberg (Ensemble)

Lindsay Weisberg is a native New Yorker who recently moved to Chicago. This is her first show with The Factory. Previous Chicago credit: The Moving Dock Theatre Company's A Quiltmaker's Gift. Lindsay recently graduated from NYU, Tisch School of the Arts, where her credits include: Eastern Standard, Arcadia, Electra, Fen, The Winter's Tale, Anton in Show Business, Feet of Clay and A Mouthful of Birds. This past summer she trained at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England. Favorite horror films: Shaun of the Dead, Halloween and Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978)!

  Lindsay Weisberg

  Steven Wilson (Buddy Castiglione)

Steven Wilson is an Emeritus member of The Factory and was last seen as The Pilot in Among The Dead. Steve is a company member with The Hypocrites and will be performing in Eugene Ionesco's, The Bald Soprano later this year. Currently, Steve can also be seen entertaining the children in Lifeline and Griffin Theater's co-production of The Stinky Cheeseman and Other Fairly Stupid Tales. Many thanks to the Factory for still having me around. His favorite horror movies are Halloween 2, Dawn of the Dead (Original), and Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Original).

  Anthony Tournis

bullet The Crew

Blaise Azzara (Original Music Composer)
Blaise had been breakin' off fresh ass beats for years in his basement with his Casio keyboard and Yamaha drum pad. Although his science was tight, most listeners thought his songs sounded like they were made for Nintendo video games. After getting smacked down to earth by the "haters", Blaise concentrated on acting for the next 15 years. He performed in plays, commercials, and movies in St. Louis, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Lots of hijinks ensued and many good and many bad things happened. Blaise met his computer whiz wife, Rachel, in Los Angeles and she noticed he had a knack for funky dope stylings. She helped hook him up with some sweet software and he took the rest from there. Blaise hopes to God his songs don't sound like anything like 90's computer game systems. In the spirit of this show, Blaise's favorite scaries are: The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original, of course), Jacob's Ladder, and Grease 2.

Allison Cain (Producer)
Allison received her training at Carnegie Mellon University and Columbia College. She has worked almost exclusively on new work since 1990, in Los Angeles, Connecticut, Scotland and Chicago. She became the Artistic Director of the now defunct, Studio 108, after moving to Chicago (where she produced twelve new works, co-directing two of them) and has acted in a multitude of plays with various theater companies throughout the city over the past 15 years. A member of the Factory since 2000, she has been the Executive Director for the past four years and has produced and acted in numerous productions with the company. She thanks you for supporting Chicago off loop theater. Her favorite horror films are, Shaun of the Dead, The Descent, and 28 Days Later and all films made by George Romero.

Abbie Colton (Assistant Stage Manager)
Abbie is excited to be working with The Factory for the first time. Abbie works by day as an assistant to the CEO of a major hedge fund company, by night as a Columbia College student getting her masters in Arts, Entertainment and Media Management and in her copious amounts of spare time, dabbles in stage managing. Thanks to Allison, Nick and Manny for this opportunity! Abbie loves pumpkins. She just watched Shaun of the Dead and loved it!

Nick Digilio (Director)
Nick is artistic director of the Factory Theater and has appeared in, written and or directed over 25 shows for the company in the past 13 years. Most recently: Being at Choice, Toast of the Town, Top Shelf..., Ménage a Trailer, GIs in Europe and, a personal favorite, the autobiographical, Here Comes a Regular. He has a radio show on WGN, and he enjoys drinking beer on a regular basis. He had a very hard time choosing his top 3 Horror Films of All-Time, but here they are (and, except for #1, the list would change daily if he had his way):
1. John Carpenter's "Halloween"
2. George A. Romero's "Dawn of the Dead"
3. Dario Argento's "Suspiria."

Paul Metreyeon (Prop Designer)
Paul is a faithful ensemble member of the Factory. Bask in the glow of his prop greatness. His 3 favorite Horror movies are Night of the Living Dead, Shaun of the Dead, and The English Patient.

Shannnon O’Neill (Assistant Producer)
A Columbia College grad, Shannon is right at home with her Factory family which is why taking on a role such as Assistant Producer has been not only thoroughly educational but inspirational as well. Big thanks to Allison Cain for showing me more than I thought could ever be done by one human being. Thanks also to CP. Top three horror flicks: Evil Dead (part 1), The Shining and The Exorcist.

Jennifer Pompa (Fight Choreographer)
Jennifer is very excited to be choreographing fights for this show. She has appeared in many Factory shows over the years and is thrilled to be behind the scenes for the first time in a long time. Currently, she performs children's theater at Navy Pier where she is also the resident Fight Choreographer and is a proud member of the Factory Theater. Factory favorites include: Poppin' and Lockdown, White Trash Wedding And A Funeral, The Vinyl Shop, Being At Choice and The Death and Life of Barb Budonovich (PSNBC/New York.) Film and Television credits include: dot, The Jamie Kennedy Experiment, and the upcoming Eden Court. Her favorite horror movies are Shaun of the Dead, Young Frankenstein andThe Exorcist.

J Scholtes (Stage Manager)
J is excited to be working with Factory for the first time. He is a graduate of Columbia College Chicago with a B.A. in Theatre Directing. His previous stage management credits include Beauty Queen of Leenane ( Columbia College ), PLUTO: The Opera (FreeStreet/Hermit Arts), Keep Ishmael (White Horse Theatre Company), and Two Rooms (Eudaimonia Professional Theatre). A few of his favorite (quasi)horror films are House on Haunted Hill (1959), Plan 9 from Outer Space (1959), and Shaun of the Dead (2004).

Morgan Steinberg (Costume Designer)
Morgan studied theater arts at Barat College. After graduation in 2003, she worked on such productions as The Magic of the Nutcracker with Dancenter North and Rapunzel with Oracle Productions. In addition to working as a free-lance seamstress, Morgan's recent credits include House of Blue Leaves with Shattered Globe Theatre, The Imminent Dangers of Love and the Afterlife with Smoke and Mirror Productions, Sketchbook 6 with Collaboraction, and The Runner Stumbles with Halcyon Theatre. Morgan loves movies of (nearly) all kinds, but horror has a special place in her heart. She especially loves The House on Haunted Hill (Vincent Price, baby!), Army of Darkness (because Bruce Campbell is the man), and Hellraiser 2.

Dan Tamarkin (Technical Director)
Dan lived a good life. Writer, teacher, theatrical designer and technician, an avid bicyclist and mountaineer, Dan’s love of the outdoors was surpassed only by his love of the theater. When he met his untimely and ignominious demise, Tamarkin was writing a theatrical triptych, the first part entitled Pinocchio Cracky-Crack Crack. He is survived by his three cats Kato, Vader and Kong. R.I.P. Favorite horror movies: The Thing, Massacre at Central High and From Beyond.

Manny Tamayo (Writer/Assistant Director)
Manny is a proud member of the Factory Theater and is currently the Ensemble Director. He hails from Joliet, Illinois. His top three horror films are:

C.W. vanBaale (Lighting Design)
C. W. van Baale (not to be confused with Constatine Wapkaplet van Baale) is the Lighting Designer for Operation Infiltration. Recently, he lit GIs in Europe, Willing Participant and Top Shelf. By day, he scrambles about as an ordinary school teacher, but when theatrical treachery erupts, he transforms into a random trivial fact generating troubleshooter. His weaknesses are only sound and high fructose corn syrup, as far as you know. Anyway, he also is the T.D. for Will Act for Food and Open Eye Productions and a freelance lighting designer and jerk of all trades. Favorite horror films includes The Omen ('76), The Shining, and Night Gallery. Many thanks to Newton, both Isaac and Iowa.

Chas Vrba (Sound Design)
Chas has designed sound for many Factory shows. This is one of them. He hopes you enjoy it. Favorite horror movies: 1. Halloween 2. Dawn of the Dead and 3. Mac & Me.

Jewel Walton (Graphic Designer)
Jewel is a classically trained artist who has studied at the American Academy of Art in Chicago. He chose the Academy because it was the home of his favorite comic book artist, Alex Ross. He is currently developing his own comic series which he plans to self publish in the near future. His favorite Horror Films vary depending on his mood but a few classic standouts are Poltergeist, John Carpenter's, The Thing, and Evil Dead 2. Ash rules!!

FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY

William & James Motion Picture Co. is an independent producer of original film and television productions for studios, cable networks, and businesses. Jim Love sits as Executive Producer of William & James and writes, produces, directs, designs, and edits many of the pictures they release. He and the William & James team are happy to be apart of this production and look forward to working again with their new friends at the Factory Theater. www.williamjames.cc

FILM PRODUCTION CREW

James R. Love (Unit Production Manager, Editor, Visual Effects)

Jim got his first camera in 1991, but he hopes much of what he shot back then has either been lost or destroyed. Through the nineties he shot a variety of independent films; some good, some only his mother enjoyed. Those adventures inevitably lead to what is now the William & James Motion Picture Co. It was in June of 1999, as Jim finished his business degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, which he officially founded and incorporated the company.

Ryan Van Ert (Director of Photography, Camera Operator)
A recent graduate of the prestigious Columbia College, Ryan spends most of his days in search of money and edible food. One day he will be a celebrated filmmaker with vacation homes in exotic places. Till then you will find him obsessively fidgeting with minor details on local film sets. Ryan is a Gemini, has great hair and is usually considered a nice person. However, he has a goofy smile and has been called, "hopelessly unphotogenic", by his girlfriend.

Neil Krajenta (Production Sound Mixer, Gaffer)
Neil is a seasoned veteran of sound, from production mixing to music composition. He's been helping out William & James Motion Picture Co. for quite awhile and has lent his musical talents to several of their pictures. Currently you might find Neil with his face buried in his hands from the agony of being a Chicago Cubs fan. There's always next year Neil, there's always next year.
